Description
We are looking for a CNC Mill Operator II or III (DOE) to join our team on the day shift, which is Monday – Friday currently from 5:00 am – 3:30 pm. Normal shift is Mon – Fri, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, which we will return to once we get caught up on our workload. Occasional weekend hours are available as well. This is a non-exempt position that pays 1.5 times the hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week.
Summary/Objective:
Operate a CNC mill machine while following company guidelines, safety requirements, quality requirements, and production standards.
Essential Functions:

· Read and follow traveler instructions
· 3 axis to 5 axis machine mill
· Load and unload material and parts
· Measure and document inspection data for self and peers
· Measure, document, maintain or improve on established production standards
· Read and interpret almost all blueprint dimensions, symbols, and notes
· Document counts
· Organize, clean, and maintain work area
· Complete discrepant tag information
· Communicate with MSD on tooling needs and offer suggestions
· Communicate with Engineering on issues, needs, and improvements
· Perform All Set Ups

Minimum Qualifications:
· 5 years as CNC Mill Operator Experience on multiple machine and controller types
· High school diploma / GED

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position requires the ability to lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. May be subject to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors and dust.
